Mallorca with Mama

Last month I had the pleasure of taking a few days off and hanging out with my mum. I don’t get to spend half as much time with her as I’d like what with living 200 miles away so a few days away just the two of us was a real treat.

My Favourite Photos

1. Donuts at Borough Market

Happy third birthday to me!! It would appear that I’ve been writing this blog for three years. Three years of full effort juxtaposed with not really caring, along side forgetting about it completely, complimented by a sprinkle of wanting it to be something, then not, then wanting it again. I’ve never done a fashion post, never really reviewed make up or beauty (maybe once to tell you about my terrible skin!?). I’ve never had much direction or drive for direction. Never really seen it as something to push me to some interstellar fame. Just a place to share with like-minded individuals things I’ve liked, places I’ve been, music I’ve listened to and most importantly share my photos.

Citadel Festival 2016

We’ve been blessed with some really tremendous weather recently in the UK. Sun, sun, sun and more sun (until this week when the heavens opened again and London became a humid hell). I say blessed, I cannot cope in UK heat… 30 degrees in central London is my idea of a nightmare unless I’m lay in a park, beer in hand with no need to move for several hours. Lucky for me, Citadel Festival was the perfect excuse to do just that!

The Barge House

Everybody loves brunch right? Everybody loves bread too? And cheese? And spending time with friends whilst groaning that you can't eat but one more mouthful but then somehow manage at least five more? This is how I felt, in all my belt groaning glory, after visiting The Barge House in Haggerston.

Where's Kate?

As happens every couple of months this poor blog has dropped off the end of the earth! Don't get me wrong, I still cart my camera around and think about vlogging, loads. Since I've turned 25 though, there's been a lot of 'WHAT'S THE POINT?!?!?' going on in my head. Generally, not just with my online presence. That's a whole differenet post for a different time!

Wynwood Miami

In Miami, there is a wonderful place called Wynwood. Wynwood is an incredible district away from the beach; there is art and energy, colours and a real buzz. We decided to take a much-needed break from the sights and sounds of South Beach and went to explore.

Welcome to Miami (Buenvenidos a Miami)!

Hello guys!! I recently celebrated my 25th Birthday! This one was big, really big. Possibly the biggest mental challenge a birthday has been thus far. I've lived a 'I'm going to be 19 forever' attitude since the day I turned 20 (19 will always be my favourite age, I'm certain) - never getting older really. But this time I've accepted it.

On the Bab

A couple of weeks ago my little (not so little) sister came to visit me for the first time since I’ve lived in London. Seeing as I’ve been here three years now, it’s a pretty poor show on her part, but I was psyched to see her none the less. I struggled with ideas and plan, ‘This is London!’ I kept thinking, ‘the land of milk and honey…’ I mused. In the end, she just wanted to go shopping and for Ben’s Cookies, easy to please!

Gluten Free Chocolate Banana Bread

At the end of last year I started a little experiment – actually good gluten free cooking! Now, I know there are lots of blogs and hints and tips all over the Internet but, I don’t have the time, inclination or wallet to buy half the stuff recommended on many websites.

Dublin daze

At the end of last year I went on a little trip for a weekend away with some friends. It was my friend’s birthday and he chose Dublin. I’ve been to Dublin before but as a student - there was less culture and more gin.

Life Affirmations for 2016

Hello 2016!

When I first drafted this post, i started by saying 2015 was a 'non-year'. I was wrong. I went on wild adventures, met some people who I quite honestly couldn’t live my life without any more and, have had my minded opened to bigger and better things. Whilst in the landscape of my life 2015 may be more of a filler year, what a filler. I forget that the beauty of writing this blog is that it's an instant diary with the ability to remind me of all the brilliant things I'm privileged to do and the places I go.
